Hi, I have a question about baby characters in Ragnarok

Do adopted characters retain their skills when they change classes? Can't find this info anywhere

From what I understand, they lose their baby appearance and get transcended status, but i'm not sure if their baby exclusive skills are kept or lost

Thanks in advance for any help!

To help organize the community's requests, this is the fourth topic in an ongoing series to help the staff see what we all in the community are requesting.

The requests can be for equipment, costumes, or shadows seen on other servers as well as items previously released on IRO. Additionally there will be a spot for requesting IRO custom equipment but keep in mind that section is mostly wishful thinking and I won't be adding the joke ones.

These topics will be pinned and after an appropriate amount of time this will be locked and the last post will be a summary which I'll curate with links to all the requested items.

Please feel free to continue discussing the items since I'd love to see why you think they're worth getting. But please don't make fun of or talk poorly about other's requests. Also this isn't the Translation Station so don't just post literally every item we haven't received yet, please only list the items you'd be excited to use.

If possible to help me in making the summary, please include a link to either Divine Pride or the official KRO or JRO database.

Lastly a bit of a notice/warning, if I see any requests in other topics they will continue to be moved and/or snipped from your message!

Hello folks,

I looked at the page Ragnarok Online - Events - Overseas Care Package 72 and it makes no sense to me.

First of all, it does not specify when the event ends and says the OCP Anniversary Token will be deleted when the event its. This by itself seems sus and creating anxiety and confusion.

Then you look at the fact that OCP 72 drops this token at a 6.82% drop rate.

So - imagine this - I want "Rest in Peace" rare item which drops at 0.34% in OCP 69 - if I wanted to get this by trading OCP Anniversary Tokens - based on the table they provided at the page - I need 100 tokens to trade with the new NPC.

This means I roughly need to open 1466 OCP 72 - give or take a few based on RNG. If I just opened OCP 69 directly, it would take me about 294. The math is baffling. Feel free to check it.

For Anniversary token to be just barely viable and on-par with just regular opening of OCP 69 - the exchange rate would need to be 1/5 of what it is now. I.E The rare items should cost 20 tokens instead of 100. A fairer rate would be 15 tokens. I am really hoping someone at GRAVITY/WARP checks the math and how bad Anniversary token is with the current drop and exchange rates.

Is this supposed to be a celebration gift for players, or something meant to get money out of youngers players who can't do math?

I'd like to know your thoughts. I do know that OCP 72 also drops other items when the 6.82% Anniversary token doesn't drop, but really, the items aren't that viable - I have one GX, and I don't really care for any of them. The general common drops which sell for Zeny like BSB are also on other OCP - so it still doesn't make sense.

[Event: Updated Corridor Of Phantoms]
Take the same COP event, but with few updates:

  • 90/99% Green Aura to all MVPs within the arena.
  • Higher spawn rate.
  • MVPs now drop both "Flower Left by Phantom" and "Ancient Flower Left by Phantom".
  • Flower Left by Phantom works as of now, exchanging them to random mini MVP and sealed MVP cards.
  • Ancient Flower Left by Phantom can work as an exchange for the real MVP card as of follows: 1000 Ancient Flower Left by Phantom and the sealed MVP card = the real MVP card.

Also, a little suggestion would be to use an instance system rather than the current COP system which works with normal maps. because most players don't even bother doing COP because you need 2-3 persons farming each map to make it worthless for others, since the spawn rates are awful. So, using an instance system would boost the amount of people farming this, hence more demand for the COP tickets.

A similar event was done in one of those Asia servers, but with a little difference. the MVPs there dropped the card and with 5 you could get an "upgraded" version of said card. Honestly that would be too much, this instead looks like a better event for now.

[Event: Challenge Old Glast Heim Spotlight]
An event that let you remove the cooldown to run the instance for an X amount of Nyangvines, like 10~20 per run, so you can run the instance indefinitely as long as you have Nyangvines with you. hence more demand for the nyangvine boxes.

This event was done in one of those Asia servers before.

[Event: Card Exchange]

An event to exchange normal cards into coins, each card gives you 1 coin, and with 10 you can ask for a random card which includes normal and MVP cards in the list.

This event was done before and for some reason it hasn't been repeated.

Maybe other events can be suggested by other users, since currently we are lacking end-game events that can keep people engaged into the game.
